Instructions for Taking a CME Course
Each CME course should take about 1 hour to complete. For those courses that are comprised of more than one qiuz, the time to complete a course will be longer than the standard 1 hour, and worth more credit hours.

- The navigation box - Articles associated with a given CME course will have a CME link in their right-hand navigation box.
- Annals of Internal Medicine CME homepage
- The following instructions apply:
- Select the CME Course through one of the interfaces described above.
- Read the corresponding full-text article(s) associated with the selected CME course in its entirety.
- After reading the article(s) in the course, you can access the CME quiz by selecting the "Quiz" link provided on the course description page.
- Complete all questions on the quiz. Select SUBMIT to process your score. Note: The CME system will give an error if any questions are left unanswered.
- For those quizzes requiring a passing grade, if a passing score is not achieved, you will be asked to start over. Use the "back" button on your browser to return to the submit page. Upon completing the question(s) missed, select the SUBMIT button again.
- When a passing score is achieved (where applicable), the correct answers will be highlighted.
- Please select the "Evaluate" link to evaluate the associated CME course, or select My CME Summary to access your CME summary page that indicates credit(s) earned, along with a link to a printable copy of your CME certificate.
- The evaluation form is optional, but would be greatly appreciated in order to facilitate our analysis of CME courses.
